TITLE: WATER

Every day kids in Africa suffer from contaminated, dirty, water. There are organizations that help these families get clean water. One of these organizations are Water.org and others but in the end they all help those who don’t have enough water or dirty water. These organizations can help the world if we chip in. We have to help share our water so others can be healthy.

The people living in Flint, Michigan started drinking water that had lead inside. Lead is very bad for you and your body. They switched the water supply for money but the new source had led in it. They switched it instantly once they found out. Everyone was happy when they changed it.Some people around the state tried to help with the problem.

During the time of Lead in water, a doctor named Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, put the red flag for water. The officials were not happy so they tried to stop her. However, Mona got interviewed for TIME Magazine under most influential people. She talked about the Lead in Water problem and said, “However, the most influential people in my world are the people of Flint – the smart, strong and resilient people of Flint that are approaching their third year of unsafe water. I hope this recognition continues to bring awareness to the ongoing Flint water crisis, and the very human story behind the crisis.”
